Having once treated such mechanism, as hydraulic steering booster, repairs of
which are not, the simpliest and cheapest, one can for a long time forget about
troubles, associated with its breakdown and search for replacement parts.
- Into a hydraulic steering booster XADO compound should be
introduced via the oil filler neck, once and in the amount of
1 tube per 1.5 l of oil.
- With intense wear double the dosage.
- After the introduction of XADO compound rock the steering wheel
for 5-10 min.
- The treatment is considered complete after 100 h of the mechanism
operation (a 3000 km run).
Note. If after a 100-200 km run no improvement is observed in operation
of the booster, then the most probable cause of this is a diagnostic mistake.
An inconsiderable improvement evidences intense wear of the mechanism, the
recommended dosage should be doubled. |
