Environment friendly circulation system for fish breeding and plant growing “Edelveys-2005”

“Edelveys-2005” is a closed water circulation system, used for fish breeding and plant growing. Less than 1% of total volume of water is lost daily due to natural water evaporation. Such economy is possible due to natural biological filtration used for purification of water so it can be used again. Special additive with bacterial cultures, together with plants, is used as bio-filters.

“Edelveys-2005” has many favorable advantages in comparison with other methods of fish breeding:

1. All kinds of fish can be bred anywhere.

Compact system (not more than 2m²) can be placed in both, open and closed areas (e.g. rooms, gardens, small restaurant halls etc.). Large fish density will bring fresh fish and vegetable supply, all year- round. Different species of fish can be bred. System’s cultivation density per cubic meter of water is 1 ton of fish/year and 250 kg vegetables.

2. Lower expense on fish food for 1kg of weight gain.

Fish food accounts for more than 60% of prime cost of fish. It is estimated that 3kg of fish food is required for every additional kg of fish. It is called food coefficient and in our system, it equals to 1kg and even less! This is achieved by using special magnetic devices in our system that speed up fish growth almost by two times!

3. Fish grows together with plants.

We all know that to get a good harvest, we need to put fertilizer and irrigate the soil for the roots to accept nutrients. Average water usage for irrigation is 12 liters for 1m³/day! Calculate your expenses. When “Edelveys-2005” is used, plants and bio-filter’s bacterial environment feed on CO₂ and by-products of fish metabolism. Thus, water becomes clean and flows back into the fish tank. Therefore, there is no expense for irrigation of plants. This technology is called magneto- aquaonics.
Other technologies require for constant increase of water pH due to frequent acidic reactions; whereas reconstruction reactions prevail when hydroponics is used, i.e. water pH has to be lowered.
In our system, integration of fish farm and plants leads to a naturally balanced water quality, as well as cost reduction of both: fish and plants!

4. Minimal water consumption.

For 1000 kg of fish, “Edelveys-2005” consumes only 100 - 300 liters of water/year!

5. Optimal water parameters.

To achieve high growth rate and minimal food consumption, fish need to spend the least energy throughout its life. Fish spend the most energy on breathing. In “Edelveys-2005” water is artificially enriched with oxygen through special magnetic systems until concentration level is high. Therefore fish spend less energy on breathing.

6. High productivity.
